Topics: Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Hypothesis Testing, Identifying Waste (Muda, Mura, Muri).
Activity: Conduct FMEA and identify waste in a given process scenario.
Topics: Solution Generation, Risk Analysis, Kaizen, Pull Systems and Kanban.
Activity: Develop a Kaizen plan and design a Kanban system for process improvement.
Topics: Control Plans, Statistical Process Control, Lean Thinking, Sustaining Improvements.
Activity: Create a control plan and a strategy for sustaining Lean improvements in a case study.

The course concludes with a scenario-based multiple-choice exam, testing the comprehensive understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
The final assessment for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course will be a scenario-based multiple-choice examination. This format is specifically designed to evaluate the participants’ grasp of both Lean and Six Sigma principles within practical, real-world contexts.
This exam format is designed to not only test theoretical understanding but also the practical application of Lean Six Sigma in a variety of situations, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to implement these practices in their professional roles.
- Duration: The exam will be 90 minutes long, allowing participants adequate time to thoughtfully consider each scenario.
- Format: The examination will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions. Each question will present a scenario that requires the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies learned during the course.
- Questions: The questions will cover all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt curriculum, testing knowledge from the Define phase through to the Control phase, including Lean-specific tools and techniques.
- Passing Score: To successfully pass the examination, participants will need to score 75% or higher, which translates to correctly answering at least 45 out of the 60 questions.
